After breakfast, we will immerse ourselves in Fez, the cultural capital of Morocco. Fez is known for housing the world’s largest medina and being the birthplace of culture, as it is home to the first university in the world.
To begin our adventure, we will take a guided tour through the Medina of Fez, walking its narrow alleys, discovering hidden gems, and learning about the city’s history. The Medina of Fez, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is home to significant landmarks in the world of craftsmanship, especially leatherwork and pottery.
Our first stop will be the majestic gate of the Royal Palace, followed by the Jewish Quarter (dating back to the 14th century). We will then visit various historically and culturally significant places, such as the Tanners' Quarters and the famous University of Qarawiyyin, the oldest university in the world.
After immersing ourselves in Fez’s history and culture, we will take a break for lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant. The tour will conclude with a visit to a viewpoint where you can capture an unforgettable panoramic view of the Medina of Fez.
