Itinerary

On the agreed day and time, we will meet you at Marrakech airport, and we will take you to your accommodation so you can settle in and rest. The first day will be free for you to get acquainted with the country and the Red City. Depending on your arrival time, there may be an opportunity to schedule activities (subject to availability).

Accommodation will be in a hotel or Riad located in Marrakech, based on the agreed category of accommodation.

After a revitalizing breakfast at your accommodation, we will take a guided tour of the city with an official guide. During the tour, we will walk through the streets of the Red City, discovering its essence and most famous landmarks, such as the Koutoubia Mosque (built in the 12th century; sister to Seville’s Giralda and considered the lighthouse and spiritual center of Marrakech), the Saadian Tombs (dating back to the 16th century, featuring a stunning central marble dome made of Carrara marble), and the Bahia Palace (also from the 16th century, an example of aristocratic life in medieval Muslim times, with highlights including its cedar wood-ceilinged ambassador's hall). Lastly, we will walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the heart and nerve center of the city.

The afternoon will be free for you to wander through the city’s streets, experience the souk firsthand, and enjoy a typical natural juice or tea in Jemaa el-Fnaa Square or at one of its famous terraces while watching the sunset.

After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Fez, an extensive route but with stunning landscapes that will show you another side of Morocco. We will pass through various Berber (Amazigh) villages and arrive at the Ouzoud Waterfalls, which, with their 110-meter height, are the largest waterfalls in North Africa. You will have free time to explore the area, enjoy the views, and discover the Gibraltar monkeys or Barbary macaques, a group of over 100 monkeys that live freely in this area.

We will continue our journey through different towns and cities, such as Beni Mellal (a small and ancient imperial city), and cross the Middle Atlas, finally arriving in Fez, where we will spend the night.

After breakfast, we will immerse ourselves in Fez, the cultural capital of Morocco. Fez is known for housing the world’s largest medina and being the birthplace of culture, as it is home to the first university in the world.

To begin our adventure, we will take a guided tour through the Medina of Fez, walking its narrow alleys, discovering hidden gems, and learning about the city’s history. The Medina of Fez, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is home to significant landmarks in the world of craftsmanship, especially leatherwork and pottery.

Our first stop will be the majestic gate of the Royal Palace, followed by the Jewish Quarter (dating back to the 14th century). We will then visit various historically and culturally significant places, such as the Tanners' Quarters and the famous University of Qarawiyyin, the oldest university in the world.

After immersing ourselves in Fez’s history and culture, we will take a break for lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant. The tour will conclude with a visit to a viewpoint where you can capture an unforgettable panoramic view of the Medina of Fez.

After breakfast at your accommodation, we will continue our journey to further explore Imperial Morocco. Our next stop will be Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997. Volubilis is an ancient Roman city, one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in northern Africa.

After the visit, we will continue our journey to Meknes, a city also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site (1996) and known for housing the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail (17th-century Sultan of Morocco).

In Meknes, we will stop for lunch and enter the Medina's walls to get lost in its narrow streets and discover its charm. We will also visit the Bab el Mansour gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

After visiting this majestic city, we will head to Rabat, where we will spend the night.

After a restful night’s sleep and a revitalizing breakfast, we will visit Rabat, the national capital, the residence of the King of Morocco, and the country’s second-largest city. In this city, we will visit different historical landmarks, such as the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Kasbah of Oudaya, and the Chellah Necropolis and gardens.

After this fascinating visit, we will stop for lunch and continue our journey to Casablanca, the White City. Casablanca is the largest city in the country and Morocco’s economic and business capital. In this magnificent city, we will visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque, the seventh-largest mosque in the world and the largest in Africa.

After this enthralling visit, we will head to our accommodation in order to rest.
