To begin our adventure in the Red City, we will take a guided tour with an official guide through the streets of Marrakech, discovering its essence and most notable monuments, such as the Koutoubia Mosque (built in the 13th century; sister to Seville's Giralda and considered the spiritual center and lighthouse of Marrakech), the Saadian Tombs (dating back to the 16th century, with a central Carrara marble dome), and the Bahia Palace (from the 16th century, an example of aristocratic life in medieval Muslim times, highlighted by its Ambassador's Hall with its cedar wood ceiling). Finally, we will walk to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the heart and nerve center of the city.
The afternoon will be free for you to wander through the city's streets, explore the souks, and enjoy a typical fresh juice or a cup of tea in Jemaa el-Fnaa Square or one of its famous terraces while watching the sunset.
Accommodation will be in a hotel or riad in Marrakech, based on the agreed accommodation category.
