Itinerary

At the beginning of the day (8:00 AM), we will pick you up from your accommodation to start our journey. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains, where we will have the opportunity to pass through the highest mountain pass in the country, Tizi n’Tichka, which stands at 2,260 meters above sea level.

We will continue the journey, passing through several picturesque villages until we reach the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (granted in 1987). This Kasbah is a fortified complex surrounded by a large wall and is famous for being the backdrop of movies and TV shows like "Game of Thrones," "Gladiator," and "Prince of Persia."

Next, we will continue our journey to one of the most well-known cities in the world for being the location of major films and blockbusters ("The Jewel of the Nile," "Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra," or "Kingdom of Heaven") and also known as the gateway to the desert: Ouarzazate, which means "without noise" in Berber. We will also visit historical sites, such as the Taurirt Kasbah.

We will continue along the so-called "Thousand Kasbahs Road" towards Skoura. There, we will pass through the Rose Valley before reaching our destination, the Dades Valley. We will have dinner and overnight at the Dades Gorges.

After a revitalizing breakfast, we will continue our journey, enjoying the Dades Valley and its landscapes. We will travel through countless Berber villages (or Tamazight) and visit the impressive Todra Gorges.

After this visit, we will head toward the desert, where we will arrive directly at the base of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, in the Merzouga Desert, home to the tallest dunes in North Africa.

From here, we will embark on a camel trek through this majestic desert, stopping to watch the sunset. After this unforgettable moment, we will venture deeper into the heart of the desert, where we will reach our camp for the night.

Upon arrival, we will be greeted with traditional tea and enjoy a delicious Berber dinner amidst the vastness of the desert. After dinner, we will continue to enjoy an unforgettable night with a drum music performance. We will sit around the fire and have the chance to learn to play various traditional instruments from Berber culture, experiencing a unique moment under one of Africa’s most stunning starry skies.

We will wake up before sunrise to watch the sunrise in the heart of the desert (this activity is optional, but highly recommended!). After breakfast, we will head toward Rissani, also known as Sijilmassa, where we will visit its traditional market. Rissani is a key city in the region, serving as a supply point for perishable foods and all kinds of crafts for the surrounding villages, making it one of the oldest and largest markets in the region.

After this visit, we will say goodbye to the palm grove surrounding the city and continue our adventure toward Ouarzazate. We will pass through several Berber villages and landscapes, such as the towns of Tazarin, Nkob, and the Draa River.

We will arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon and go directly to our accommodation, where we will have dinner.

After breakfast, we will visit the famous *Atlas Film Studios*, known worldwide. This is where Ouarzazate earned the nickname "Hollywood of Africa." At the studios, we will see the sets and locations where globally renowned films were shot.

After the visit, we will continue our journey toward Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again.

We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. Depending on the time of arrival, there may be an option for additional activities (subject to availability).

Farewell and end of our services.
