In the early morning (8:00 AM), we will pick you up from your accommodation to begin our journey. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains, where we’ll have the chance to cross the highest mountain pass in the country, Tizi n’Tichka (or Tichka Pass), which stands at 2,260 meters above sea level. 

We will continue our trip, passing through various picturesque villages until we reach the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah (designated in 1987). This fortified city is surrounded by a massive wall and has been the setting for films and series like "Game of Thrones", "Gladiator", and "Prince of Persia". 

Next, we will head to one of the most famous cities in the world, known for being the backdrop of many blockbuster films such as "The Jewel of the Nile", "Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra", and "Kingdom of Heaven". Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Desert,” derives its name from the Berber language, meaning “without noise.” We will also visit historical sites such as the Kasbah of Taourirt. 

Our journey continues along the “Thousand Kasbahs Road” to Skoura, where we’ll cross the Rose Valley before reaching our destination, the Dades Valley. We will have dinner and overnight in the Dades Gorge.

After a revitalizing breakfast, we will continue our trip through the Dades Valley and its stunning landscapes. We will cross countless Berber villages (or Tamazight-speaking villages) before visiting the impressive Todra Gorges. 

Following this visit, we’ll head towards the desert, arriving at the foot of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in the Merzouga Desert, home to the tallest dunes in North Africa. 

From here, we’ll embark on a camel ride through this majestic desert, stopping to witness the breathtaking sunset. After this unforgettable moment, we’ll venture deeper into the heart of the desert, where we’ll reach our camp for the night. 

We will be welcomed with traditional tea and enjoy a delicious Berber dinner in the vast desert. After dinner, we will continue to enjoy an unforgettable evening with a drum music show. We’ll gather around the fire, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to play traditional Berber instruments, all under one of the most stunning star-filled skies in Africa.

We will wake up before sunrise to experience the dawn in the heart of the desert (this activity is optional but highly recommended!). After breakfast, we will bid farewell to the desert as we head north. We will pass through numerous towns such as Rissani, Erfoud, and Errachidia, as well as enchanting areas like the Ziz Valley and the “apple city” of Midelt, where we will stop for lunch. 

From Midelt, we will continue our journey toward Fez, passing through the towns of Azrou and Ifrane. Along the way, we will be amazed by the landscapes, including the impressive Middle Atlas mountain range and the cedar forest (home to ancient trees and a population of Barbary macaques). 

We will arrive in Fez in the afternoon and head directly to your accommodation.
