Itinerary

Early in the morning (8:00 AM), we will pick you up from your accommodation to begin our journey. Along the way, we’ll pass through numerous towns, including Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco," and Azrou, where we’ll explore the Middle Atlas Mountains and cedar forests.

We’ll continue our journey to Midelt, the "apple city," where we’ll stop for lunch. From there, we’ll pass through cities like Errachidia, with its majestic palm grove (the Ziz Valley), Erfoud, famous for its fossils, and Rissani, the "date city," home to the province's largest traditional market.

We’ll end our day at the base of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, the Merzouga Desert, which boasts the tallest dunes in North Africa.

From this point, we’ll embark on a camel trek through the majestic desert, stopping to watch the sunset. After this unforgettable moment, we’ll continue into the heart of the desert, where we’ll arrive at the camp where you’ll spend the night.

At the camp, we’ll be welcomed with traditional tea and enjoy a delicious Berber dinner amidst the vastness of the desert. After dinner, you can enjoy an unforgettable evening with a drum music performance, sitting around a fire, and even learning to play traditional Berber instruments—offering a unique experience under one of the most breathtaking starry skies in Africa.

We’ll wake up before sunrise to witness the stunning desert sunrise (this activity is optional but highly recommended!).

After breakfast, we’ll head to Rissani, also known as Sijilmassa, where we’ll visit its traditional market. Rissani is a key city in the region, serving as a supply hub for perishable goods and artisanal crafts for surrounding towns. It is one of the largest and oldest markets in the region.

Following this visit, we’ll bid farewell to the palm grove that surrounds the city and set out toward Fez. Along the way, we’ll pass through Amazigh towns like Erfoud and Errachidia and areas of exceptional charm like the Ziz Valley.

Midway, we’ll stop for lunch in Midelt, the "apple city." Afterward, we’ll continue our journey, passing once again through Azrou and Ifrane—our last chance to enjoy the spectacular Middle Atlas landscapes and cedar forests, known for their distinctive Barbary monkeys.

We’ll arrive in Fez in the afternoon and head straight to your accommodation.

Farewell and end of our services.
