After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel to begin the adventure to the Ouzoud Waterfalls. "Ouzoud" is a Berber word meaning "olive," referencing the olive trees that surround this destination.
On the way to our destination, we will pass through various Berber (or Amazigh) villages, giving us a chance to appreciate different styles of architecture and landscapes.
Upon arrival at this natural wonder, you will have free time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Before descending the famous stairs to reach the waterfall, we’ll stop to take in the spectacular panoramic views: a 110-meter-high cascade surrounded by native flora and fauna.
For the more adventurous, there is an alternative route to reach the base of the waterfalls. This path is more challenging and requires good physical fitness and proper footwear, but it offers stunning views and encounters with free-roaming monkey populations.
If you prefer not to take long hikes, you can enjoy a charming boat excursion that takes you to the other side of the falls. On this side, you will also have the opportunity to observe monkeys (or macaques—tailless primates) in their natural habitat, living freely.
To make the most of this visit, we recommend taking a refreshing swim!
We will return to Marrakech in the afternoon, where we will conclude our services and bid you farewell.
